Jonathan “Sam” Goldsmith
Jonathan “Sam” Goldsmith is the Founder/CEO/President/Head Coach/CTO/Lead Developer of Disc.ai. He has been playing Ultimate Frisbee since 2006, and has played Disc Golf on and off since 2014. He fell in love with the flight of the disc. He previously worked as an iOS developer for many top technology companies like MyFitnessPal, Macys, and Diamond Kinetics. Taking his knowledge of Ultimate Frisbee, he has coached many teams, including a top 25 nationally ranked High School, and has won a national Youth Club Championship with the local girlx team. He founded Disc.ai in 2023 with the goal of helping disc throwers throw their frisbees as far and as accurately as they want.
MEET THE TEAM
Christina Casler
Christina is the Head of Design/QA for Disc.ai. Christina started playing Ultimate Frisbee in 2012 as a way to get more exercise. She currently coaches for the University of California’s women’s team. Christina and Jonathan met playing Ultimate Frisbee, have been married since 2023, and have shared many an ultimate frisbee field, disc golf course, and dance floor. They have a wonderful dog Pippen who, if you’re lucky, will catch your throws (and hopefully not bark on your backswing).
Susan Goldsmith
General Counsel for Disc.ai. Mother of Jonathan. She has been an Intellectual Property and IT lawyer for a long time. Gives generally excellent motherly advice. A fantastic caddy.
Liz D’Aloia
Head of Human Resources for Disc.ai. Aunt of Jonathan. Former HR Director of Office Depot, is the one stop shop for all HR needs. A startup founder herself, she has provided invaluable guidance on how to start and run a startup. Always down for a good time and looking to build community.
Quinton Yap
Quinton Yap is the Web Developer for Disc.ai. who edits and creates content on the website. He specializes in content creation and search engine optimization. Quinton can often times be found playing beach ultimate in Alameda.
Pippen
Good Boy!
